Couple's Bunko 2010

So I had a blast hosting bunko this month. I scrap booked cd covers and party favors, I had fun making all the food and I could not have pulled it off without Bri, my dear friend. The prizes were fun. I did 3 top prizes for the winners. They each got popcorn bowls with all the goodies inside and gift certificates to the movies. The grand prize got the same thing but a gift certificate to Pizza/Pasta Factory instead and in theirs I put some goblets, sparking cider, love coupons, boxes of chocolate and a love cd....

My favorite part was making Creme Brule. My mom had all the little cups and the fire torch w/ the propane tank. I had dipped chocolate strawberries just for the occasion. It was a lot of work but it turned out to be a great evening for all away from kids!

January Bunko

We kicked off the new year right in January with a "Relaxing" Bunko Pajama party and Breakfast for Dinner! Suzanne was our hostess this month and we loved her idea. We all got these awesome Eye Masks to enjoy at the end of the night. I love this picture too because I think they look like goggles on our heads! We all have so much fun together!

November Bunko

Finally posting November Bunko - I stole this from my own post so here it is in my own words. It was such a fun Night!

Yes, I am one of those crazy ladies that has to go to the midnight showing o f New Moon. I am so thankful to have crazy friends just like me to enjoy it with! This time was especially fun because we also have Bunko on Thursdays so it worked out perfectly to combined the two events.
Jo was our host this month and went all out. Seriously, I was in love with the whole evening and everything she did.
Everything was covered, from Vampires....
.....to werewolves.
We even got Twilight lotion. Way to host a party Jo!
We played a fun round of Bunko and then headed over to the theatre to wait in line. We stopped at the Maverick on the way to get some supplies and Hot Chocolate because it was cold (yes, you heard me. It was cold here that night in st. george.)Lucky we didn't have to wait to long in line and got great seats.
As we were anxiously awaiting the arrival of New Moon, the theatre employees came out to welcome us and throw shirts and hats out into the crowd. Brooke won this New Moon hat that we all wanted to steal from her. I love this picture of her too! She is such a riot!
We all LOVED the show! I thought they did a great job on it considering the movies are never as good as the books. I have always been a Team Edward gal (and still am) but after seeing Jacob Black, I found myself liking Jacob more than I ever did. :) Jocelyn, Tasha, Suzanne and I had the best time watching the werewolves. I think Jocelyn enjoyed it more than the rest of us but made it so entertaining to sit by!
The best part of the night? (other than the werewolves of course!) was our cute little Wendy sitting on her booster chair! What a Fun, Fun, Fun night! I can hardly wait for Eclipse!
