April Bunko was AWESOME! Angie did a great job! 

We loved having an extra reason to celebrate with a surprise baby shower for Angie and her new twin boys! (Coming Soon!)

We all got Flip-Flops and the winners received pedicures. Thanks for a great Bunko night Angie!

AAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!

So I am going to have to reschedule Bunko!! I hope you all understand. We need to be in Phoenix this weekend. I have also had three or four people tell me they can't make it on that night. Will next Wednesday the 20th work for everyone or we could have it on the 28th. Please get back to me ASAP!!! I am so very sorry about this. I will make it up to all of you! jocelyn

So I am thinking of May 14th for Bunko... I think this month is going to be nuts for everyone. It already is for me. Hope this day works for everybody!! It will be at the club house (of course). Love you all, can't wait... jocelyn

April BUNKO!

Hey girlies...April BUNKO will be on the 16th at the PV clubhouse. Mark your calendars! By the way I TOTALLY MISSED YOU ALL THIS MONTH.

SOUP recipe

Okay Ladies here it is as promised:
Nordstroms Tomato Basil Soup

• 1 cup canned peeled plum tomato (ROMAS)
• 1/4 lb carrot, chopped
• 1/4 lb onion, chopped
• 1/3 tablespoon dry basil
• 1/8 cup olive oil
• 1/4 gallon water
• 1/8 lb chicken base
• 1/4 quart heavy cream
• 1/3 tablespoon kosher salt
• 1/3 tablespoon black pepper

Directions

1. In a large stock pot, sautee the olive oil, carrots, and onions at medium heat for 15 minutes. (until carrots are really soft)
   

2. Add the basil, salt, pepper, and tomatoes and bring to a simmer.

3. In a large bowl, whisk the chicken base into the water until dissolved.

4. Add the water mixture to the stock pot, bring to a boil, and then simmer for 45 minutes.

5. Puree the soup using a hand blender while adding the heavy cream until it reaches a thin consistency.

I actually put everything into a blender and puree it until it is creamy. Also, you can totally used canned tomatoes. GOOD LUCK. I will get the bread stick recipe on here next!
