April BUNKO!

Hey girlies...April BUNKO will be on the 16th at the PV clubhouse. Mark your calendars! By the way I TOTALLY MISSED YOU ALL THIS MONTH.

SOUP recipe

Okay Ladies here it is as promised:
Nordstroms Tomato Basil Soup

• 1 cup canned peeled plum tomato (ROMAS)
• 1/4 lb carrot, chopped
• 1/4 lb onion, chopped
• 1/3 tablespoon dry basil
• 1/8 cup olive oil
• 1/4 gallon water
• 1/8 lb chicken base
• 1/4 quart heavy cream
• 1/3 tablespoon kosher salt
• 1/3 tablespoon black pepper

Directions

1. In a large stock pot, sautee the olive oil, carrots, and onions at medium heat for 15 minutes. (until carrots are really soft)
   

2. Add the basil, salt, pepper, and tomatoes and bring to a simmer.

3. In a large bowl, whisk the chicken base into the water until dissolved.

4. Add the water mixture to the stock pot, bring to a boil, and then simmer for 45 minutes.

5. Puree the soup using a hand blender while adding the heavy cream until it reaches a thin consistency.

I actually put everything into a blender and puree it until it is creamy. Also, you can totally used canned tomatoes. GOOD LUCK. I will get the bread stick recipe on here next!

February Bunko

So I don't know about the rest of you, but I had a BLAST at Bunko on Wednesday!! I seriously loved having the husbands there!! I just thought it was cool for them to actually see what we do once a month and to also partake in our socializing as well! However, I will be glad to get it back to just us GIRLS next month!! Thanks to EVERYONE who helped me pull it off too. I would not have been able to do it without you!! :) I also wanted to say here that I have truly come to know and love you girls! You are all so amazing and I just think the world of you!! Ok, enough of that... here are the super cute pictures of all you HOT HOT couples. (I also hope you ALL went home and put your KY to some good use!!! :) HeHe! Gross...)

December Bunko Night was a "Sparkling Night" Just for us Girls. It was at Liz's House and we had the best time! She made the most delicious food! We had Tomato Soup from the Nordstrom Recipe Book, home made breadsticks, and salad. It really was an amazing meal! My mouth is still watering just thinking about it! 

Then onto Bunko night! We had a great round of play and were all surprised by the gifts that Liz had. She has a connection with someone at Morgan Jewlers and gave the 3 winners real pearl earrings! Wow! Thanks Liz! That was an incredible Night! 

Thanks to the many Subs that came too! We know you had a great time as well!
